Marc VE1BEL read the minutes of the 12 March 2011 meeting.

Old Business
Exeercise Handshake.
The Marc VE1BEL President said that overall the Exercise did not run very smoothly.
There were many VHF/ Mavcom contacts but HARC had the 94 repeater
and another repeater linked which caused much confusion.
Efforts to get them unlinked went unheeded.
HARC handled the HF portion of the exericise which went okay.
Vice President Emile VE1ESP will send a report to Jim Langille Section Manager.
Roof Antennas
The President outlined what the construction would be on the roof and how we might erect antennas.
He and Ed VE1EGG discussed the possibility of erecting the beam antenna on a crank up tower
fixed to the steel beams which will be constructed on the roof covering the membrane roof.
A discussion followed and members had their thoughts and suggestions of how we can get HF
antennas on the roof. More to follow next meeting.
Down East Flea Market
The President Marc VE1BEL said that there would be a need for volunteers for
the Flea Market held in May.
There is a need for security ticket sales etc. All help will be welcomed.
New Business
Because of the Down East Fleamarket being on May 14, 2011, there will
be no Monthly meeting in May.
